"With 'In Vitro' installation, you enter a darkened room and see large distorted glass shapes suspended in the void. Lasers illuminate the hidden world inside the glass, creating red anatomical shadows on the surrounding walls, reminiscent of Barium Meal X-rays, Quasars in outer space or marine life in the deep oceans, only seen when illuminated by endogenous light sources. The shadows gently move as if breathing or in liquid."

Included as part of the 'Move as if Breathing' exhibition the National Glass Centre, Sunderland from 5th July to 28th October 2004.
